Places to Be!

Stone Mountain Park | Cedar Point | Hell, Grand Cayman

What about it?

For an IT project, we are to find the places we like the most, and our homes, to find on Google Earth. I chose a few of my facorite places, and thought they were the places to be!

My Home!

This is my Home! I live here, and the current photo of the arial veiw happens to be within the time of construction. Now its of course built. Also theres a huge community pool outside in between the complexes where theres a ton of trees scrambled up.

Stone Mountain Park!

I was actually born in the same city the mountain exists in: Stone Mountain, Georgia. I came to the Stone Mountain park every weekend with my grandmother, and played around like the kid I was. We also sometimes came to the later night Laser shows where the entire mountain was lit up with lasers and music blared as to how the Laser story went. It was really, really fun! The mountain's park also plays theme to many major concerts. They play on the stage in front of the mountain, put lasers up on it, and then have about 100 speakers play the music around the park. Its really cool.

They also have a lift in the park that rises you up to the top of the mountain. They actually let you on top of the mountain, and let me tell you, it's quite a view! You can actually see Atlanta from 15+ miles away, its a sight to see. They also have cool little restaurant stands for stuff on top of the mountains, and like always, I get Dip'n'dots!

The carving on the mountain is better seen with a side view, so I got one off the internet.

Cedar Point!

When I lived in Ohio, back a couple years ago, we went countless times to Cedar Point. The roller coasters in this park are insane! I loved the Raptor and the Magnum! The one that I unfortunately couldn't get the guts to ride was the Millennium Force 2000, which is the 300+ foot fall drop. I am not a fan of dropping; I much prefer loops and corkscrews!

They recently have added a few new rides, and I really wanna go back and ride the Millennium Force 2000, Top Thrill Dragster, The Mantis, and the Twisted Twisters! It's quite exciting actually. This is definately a must-go place on anyone's list!

The Cayman Islands: Hell!

Don't take the name seriously. Its actually very nice place with nice people, with a good sense of humor. The scenery is what makes the name anyways. The rocks that have formed over thousands of years of crystallization make them look hellacious. Its really quite cool, must visit!

In front of the lake just outside, there is a gift shop, on the picture below its the yellow topped building. It has awesome stuff inside, coolest postcards, trinkets, and more. It also has a face-insert model outside in the front where you put your face and the rest of the body is a painting of satan. It's pretty funny!
